Deliciously yummy house

I've been waiting so long to post these pictures of my deliciously yummy house. The special aired last night and it was such an emotional moment for me to reveal not only the house, but the journey it took to get there. I love that we did not gloss over the tough stuff. We dove in and really told the true story. My sobriety and my mental health are important subjects to me and I am honored and privileged to be able to share it with you all. For the last 19 years, I only showed you what I wanted you to see, the bright, shiny, happy effervescent parts that are easy to reveal. But this is a new version of myself, I'm more complete balanced version. I don't have the shame in the struggles that I used to. Instead, I celebrate the traumas and who was able to move through them. No more hiding.
It's been the most freeing and beautiful process. Now you see the real me. The unapologetic authentic me. These pictures of my home are a labor of so many layers of love, kindness, creativity, thoughtfulness, and just pure joy. Enjoy the home. Oh, and I'm saving the bedroom for another post because it's just that good. tet love you all. And I will be doing tons of posts on how all this was done and the people who help make it happen. Well save that for 2026.
Sharing the true story behind a dream home goes beyond just showcasing beautiful decor—it’s about embracing vulnerability and celebrating growth. In my experience, opening up about sobriety and mental health creates a powerful connection with others who may be facing similar challenges. This authenticity transforms a house into a home filled with meaning. Building a home in Florida brought unique opportunities to weave nature’s warmth and light into the design, enhancing the sense of peace and renewal. From vibrant colors inspired by the local landscape to spaces designed for gratitude and reflection, every detail was chosen with intention. The process was both challenging and healing. Owning your story means embracing the tough days as much as the joyful ones. When you stop hiding and start celebrating your past and present, you create a life that is rich, authentic, and unapologetically yours. For anyone embarking on a similar path—whether renovating a space, working on sobriety, or improving mental health—remember that progress sometimes looks like small steps mixed with honesty. Allow yourself to celebrate your journey and the layers of love, kindness, and creativity you bring to everything you build. It’s truly the key to creating a home that feels deliciously yummy, in every sense.
