We’ve been thinking about adding a new puppy to our pack, especially now that Chester, our youngest, has fully settled in and is ready for a buddy closer to his age. Roxy, our sweet 9-year-old, loves her calm vibes, but Chester needed a playful partner to match his energy. 🐾
While scrolling through Nextdoor, we came across a post about a little skinny puppy possibly around a year old found abandoned on a basketball court at a nearby apartment complex. A kind couple had taken him in but was looking for a forever home. ❤️
The next day, we took Chester and Roxy to meet him, and it was instant puppy love. 💕 They ran, played, and bonded like they’d known each other forever. Despite being a bit skittish (understandably so) and very thin, Crumb has the sweetest heart. He adores people and other animals and has already become the biggest love bug in our home. 🐶

It feels like just yesterday we found Crumb, a sweet stray dog with those pleading brown eyes, abandoned and needing a home. His coat is shiny, his 'brown eyes' sparkle with confidence, and he's filled out beautifully. He's still the biggest love bug, showering us with cuddles, and his playful energy matches Chester's perfectly.
