My top five places to visit in Rome❤️

1. The Colosseum

A must-see for first-time visitors! Touring the inside offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of Ancient Rome.

2. The Roman Forum

Many tours cover both the Colosseum and the Forum, making it easy to explore both in one visit. My favorite part was learning that many of the buildings were once painted in bright, bold colors, which have faded over time.

3. The Vatican Museums

If you love museums, don’t miss this one! There’s even a restaurant in the courtyard that connects all the museums, perfect for a break during your visit.

4. Ricciocapriccio Hair Salon

A hidden gem my friend discovered near our hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The salon was beautifully decorated, and the prices were very reasonable.

5. Volare Ristorante Pizzeria

Another hidden gem we stumbled upon while walking around one evening! Their carbonara was the best I’ve ever had, and the lemon gelato was the perfect way to end our time in Rome. Bonus: they also have a location in Chicago!
