Tbh I’ve rlly struggled with thinking I wasn’t a good Christian even just for this reason. I was scared I didn’t look as “good” as the others I was around but as I got older I learned my worth is determined by what specific things I found important, the notes I wrote, or what I added on to, but, more by me just reading and doing gods work .

However, faith transcends physical appearances; it is about the actions we take and the beliefs we hold. Notably, your Bible's condition is not a reflection of your faith but rather a testament to your journey with God. The scriptures remind us that our sincerity and commitment to spiritual practice are what truly hold value. For instance, in II Timothy 3, it emphasizes the necessity of holding onto truth, while Isaiah 25 speaks about praise and worship in the face of challenges. These teachings underscore the principle that faith is exhibited in how we live our lives and relate to others. Additionally, having the right mindset about faith involves recognizing that imperfections in our spiritual practices do not diminish our connection with God. Each individual’s journey is unique, and what’s more crucial is our willingness to learn, grow, and serve in our faith community. Building a personal relationship with scripture through reading, understanding, and applying its principles can enhance faith, leading to a more meaningful and fulfilling spiritual experience.
