Stop Explaining the Vision to Small Minded People
Some visions are not meant to make sense to everybody immediately.
And honestly?
That’s where a lot of people get stuck.
They spend so much time:
✔️ explaining
✔️ convincing
✔️ proving themselves
✔️ seeking validation
✔️ shrinking their dreams
…that they stop moving altogether.
One thing I had to realize?
You cannot expect people to fully understand a vision God didn’t personally give THEM.
Protect your mindset.
Protect your faith.
Protect your growth.
And stop waiting for approval to become who you’re called to be.
In my personal journey, I've encountered many moments where I felt compelled to explain and justify my dreams and vision to those who simply couldn’t grasp them. What I realized over time was that small-minded people will never understand your pursuit or the calling that drives you. This insight freed me from the exhausting cycle of seeking validation, which often led to halting my progress altogether. One practical way I protected my growth was by focusing more on actions than explanations. Instead of trying to convince others, I invested my energy into nurturing my vision and faith. I found that when you stop shrinking your dreams to fit someone else's limited perspective, you allow yourself to expand and flourish in ways that truly matter. Sometimes, the vision you carry is unique because it’s meant to be. Others might not see it because it challenges their own beliefs or fears. This does not diminish its value; it only highlights that you are on a path they have not been called to walk. It's essential to surround yourself with a community that supports your mindset shifts and growth. Engaging with like-minded individuals who share your motivation and purpose can reinforce your confidence and encourage continual development. Remember, protecting your mindset means setting boundaries on how much influence external opinions have over you. Protecting your faith means trusting the journey even when outcomes are unclear. Protecting your growth means choosing progress over approval every time. Ultimately, embracing these principles has helped me maintain clarity and focus, enabling me to move forward with conviction rather than doubt. If you find yourself stuck explaining your vision repeatedly, take a step back, reassess your sources of encouragement, and recommit to your calling with unwavering belief.
