I could see the intricate web of ski runs, the tiny figures of skiers and snowboarders carving their way down, and the majestic peaks of the Tenmile Range surrounding us. For those looking to capture these unforgettable aerial winter views, a few tips from my trip: try to go on a clear day, of course! Early morning or late afternoon often offers the most beautiful light for photography, with softer shadows and golden hues. While drones might offer unique perspectives, always check resort policies before flying. Often, the best aerial views are from the gondola or even some of the higher chairlifts like Imperial Express SuperChair, which takes you to some of the highest points on the mountain. Just remember to bundle up – it gets chilly up there, even inside the gondola cabins! Seeing Breckenridge from this vantage point gave me a whole new appreciation for its natural beauty and the engineering marvel of the resort.
