🍋A decade of Trucking🍋

Today marks 10 years since I dropped everything and made one of the best decisions of my life by getting my CDL. It's been a journey l've gained a lot and lost a lot along the way. I've gotta shoutout my boy Bubbahead (I know he's watching over me from up there) for teaching me how to drive, spending the block around Chad in that green Bonneville. I wanna thank all the friends I've made along the way and my friends back home who believed in me and didn't forget about me. It is a humbling day. Trucking has really been the most consistent thing in my life, and I'm grateful for every mile. Here's to many more safe years on these roads.#truck #blacktruckersoflemon8 #truckersoflemon8

The introduction of electronic logging devices (ELDs) has transformed how drivers manage their hours. Additionally, the focus on sustainable practices has increased, with many companies investing in fuel-efficient trucks and eco-friendly technologies. Training and certification play a vital role in ensuring that drivers are well-equipped with necessary skills, especially regarding hazardous materials and compliance with safety regulations. Aspiring truck drivers can now explore various training programs, such as those offered by CRST, to obtain their CDL and gain valuable experience on the road. Networking with other truckers also enhances community support, especially among minority groups, fostering shared experiences and mentorship opportunities that enrich the trucking journey. As I look forward to many more years as a driver, I remain committed to safety, continuous learning, and building connections within this dynamic industry.
