This is your summons to become. #Jesusismywhy
Not every funeral is for the dead.
Some are for the dreams you postponed.
There are for the gifts you buried.
The person you kept informing God you’ll be becoming him/her “tomorrow”
Tomorrow turned into next week.
Then, Next week turned surely into next year
And your purpose slowly slipped through the painstaking cracks.
You don’t have to live six feet under anymore when you’ve got Jesus.
Procrastination kills but Purpose in God gives life.
Don’t keep waiting while purpose keeps knocking‼️
Who cares if the perception of others is telling you otherwise? Motion is Motion, my friend.
And if they ask you why you keep on moving forward, let them hear::
“Jesus is my why”
“Walk worthy of the calling with which you were called.” -Ephesians 4:1
@ApostleB
Many of us can relate to the feeling of postponing our dreams and aspirations, telling ourselves "tomorrow" or "next week," only for those tomorrows to stretch indefinitely. This message reminds me of the powerful truth that the greatest loss is not death itself but the death of the person we could have become. I’ve found that recognizing procrastination’s impact on my spiritual and personal growth was the first step toward reclaiming my purpose. In my journey, embracing Jesus as the ultimate "why" shifted my perspective. When purpose is anchored in faith, it becomes a source of life and motivation rather than a burdensome obligation. Each moment wasted in doubt or delay feels like I’m letting a part of my God-given potential slip away. But with God, there’s always a chance to rise and move forward, even if previous plans fell through. Moreover, the idea of not living "six feet under" anymore with Jesus resonates deeply—it symbolizes breaking free from the chains of stagnation and spiritual death caused by inaction. It encourages us to take meaningful steps, regardless of others' opinions or judgments, because every move forward is a victory against procrastination. Incorporating the encouragement from Ephesians 4:1, "Walk worthy of the calling with which you were called," challenges us to live intentionally and consciously aligned with our divine purpose. By sharing this personal reflection, I hope to inspire others to hear the knock of purpose and respond boldly, knowing that "Jesus is my why" provides strength and clarity to become the person we're meant to be.
