✨Project Pan: Perfumes ✨

I LOOOOVE me a good scent. I love smelling good. I love being complimented on smelling good. I love the ritual of taking care of myself and making sure I smell good.

This is a little out of hand. I told myself I would not be buying anymore perfumes/scents until I have used up some of what I have. Now I do have my all time favorites and it will be hard to not have those in my collection once they’re gone, but I’m hoping that will be a motivator to use what I have. It’s hard when I feel like I’ve outgrown a scent or am just not feeling it that day, but here we go. This is one of my project pans of 2026. I’m *trying* not to buy any new perfumes without finishing what I already have. #projectpan2026 #perfumecollection #perfumes #projectpan #Lemon8

Sometimes, having a collection of perfumes can feel overwhelming, especially when you tend to buy new scents frequently. But trying to finish up the ones you have first encourages you to explore different moods and occasions through scent. One trick that helped me was categorizing my perfumes by their scent family or season. For example, lighter florals and citrus scents for spring and summer, richer woody or oriental scents for fall and winter. This made it easier to pick a fragrance that suited not only the day but also matched my mood. I also realized that even if I initially felt like I had 'outgrown' a particular scent, wearing it again after some time provided a refreshed experience. Scents evolve on the skin, and sometimes pairing them with a different lotion or wearing them during a different activity completely changed the perception. In terms of the specific perfumes mentioned, such as BELLAVITA, vlish Foret, GOD WHITE LAVE WOMAN, or OUD EAU DE PARFUM, these unique fragrances each offer distinct notes and profiles. During my Project Pan, I noticed how the oud scent—rich, smoky, and deep—felt perfect for evening wear and cooler weather. It’s worth experimenting with when to wear each fragrance to maximize enjoyment and prevent boredom. Most importantly, the act of slowing down and using what you have helps to reduce impulsive purchases and turns perfume use into a mindful, luxurious ritual. It also pushes you to discover hidden gems in your collection and possibly even mix scents for a signature fragrance. If you love the ritual of taking care of yourself as much as I do, Project Pan can be an empowering and enjoyable journey rather than a restriction.
