Wisconsin Must Sees 🧀
📍 Wisconsin
Living in Wisconsin my entire life has brought me a deep appreciation for the Midwest and the driftless region! Here’s a few of my favorite spots 🫶🏼 (there’s always more to explore though 😉) My boyfriend and I have a goal of visiting, camping, and hiking at every Wisconsin state park! Follow along if you’d like!
1) Devil’s Lake State Park
🌞 This is one of my favorite state parks! There’s great camping opportunities and the hiking brings stunning views. I would highly recommending checking this place out.
2) Apostle Islands
🌞 Love the apostle islands. They’re stunning and in a great area near cute little towns (Bayfield). Bayfield brings many fun adventures including kayaking tours through the islands. If you can catch a VERY cold winter you can explore the ice caves too!
3) Peninsula State Park
🌞 Door County NEEDS to be on your list. Peninsula State Park is a great visit on the list of many amazing places in Door County. The Eagle Tower is a newer addition to this park & gives you a great view + is handicap accessible!
4) Perrot State Park
🌞 Located in the driftless region, Perrot State Park offers breathless views + stunning bluffs! Camping and hiking right on the Mississippi will never get old. I love the Brady’s Bluff Trail here and highly recommend.
5) Horicon Marsh
🌞 This marsh is the largest freshwater cattail in the U.S.! Which is crazy that this place calls Wisconsin home. Offering great hiking trails and a gem for avid birders, the Horicon Marsh is a cool place to visit!
