31 Days of Prayer: Day 9 and 10

I definitely missed out on sharing the word yesterday, but I didn't miss the word. I was flooded with so many emotions due to my timely guest who comes monthly, but today I ate my emotions away and sulked in my cramps and tears, and I'm back to remind everyone that he is real. If not for him, today would have been like yesterday, feeling down and insecure about all my wonderful gifts he has blessed me with that don't seem to fit. But he says in Psalm 42:11, “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.”

The Bible acknowledges that everyone experiences moments of feeling low or troubled. It encourages us to shift our focus back to God in order to find hope and strength. By acknowledging our feelings and seeking God's presence, we can find comfort and reassurance. Throughout our spiritual journey, it's common to face trials that test our faith. The phrase, ‘Focus on Jesus, not the storm,’ invites believers to look beyond current struggles and remain anchored in hope.
