My Personality is “MOM” 🩵😭

I know a lot of moms get tired of staying at home and get tired of doing things that revolve around their kids or husband! Sometimes you just wanna go back to work and get out the house!!! There is definitely apart of me that feels that way! Some days I just wanna leave and go be myself and have my body back to be just mine! Or just leave the house and be able to think!

That being said I also love being at home! I am what they call a SAHM and I honestly wouldn’t want it any other way!

I love find creative healthy meals to cook for my son!

I love making sensory play activities for him to play with!

I love listening to music with him and dancing to songs like “icky sticky bubble gum” 😂to the point it’s stuck in my head for days

I love nature walks

I love making baby crafts like Christmas ornaments out of his footprints!

I love reading him stories and making it into a play with stuffed animals!

I love baking and all of things I’ve learned to bake!

I love doing arts and crafts!

This is my life and I’m okay with that! It makes me happy to be on a routine and when I stop it makes me feel bad about myself! I love this life and I know some people might not but I wouldn’t change mine! Being a mom gave me purpose and I’m okay with admitting that!🩵🩵

... Read moreBeing a mom, especially a stay-at-home mom (SAHM), comes with its unique set of joys and challenges that shape your daily life and identity. Many moms experience the push-and-pull between craving personal space and the undeniable love for their family routine. It’s normal to want to reclaim your body and mind sometimes or just have a moment alone outside the home. Yet, for many, like the author, embracing the "MOM" personality means fully accepting and loving the routines and activities that come with motherhood. Creating a nurturing environment for children involves a creative approach to everyday tasks. Cooking healthy meals and experimenting with new recipes not only promotes the family’s well-being but also becomes a joyful way to bond. Sensory play activities stimulate a child’s development and imagination - a win-win for moms and children alike. Music and dancing together, even funny songs like "icky sticky bubble gum," show how small shared moments create lasting memories and lighten daily routines. Engaging with nature, making crafts such as footprint Christmas ornaments, reading stories and turning them into interactive plays, or baking delicious treats are all meaningful ways to make motherhood fulfilling. These activities allow moms to express their creativity while building strong connections with their children. A routine might sometimes feel restrictive, but for many, it provides a sense of purpose and stability. It’s also important to acknowledge the emotional aspects of motherhood. Feeling guilty when not following the routine or wishing for personal time are valid feelings. Accepting these emotions and knowing they do not diminish the love for your family helps in maintaining balance and mental well-being. Being a “MOM” personality is about embracing your role with all its imperfections and celebrations. It’s about making a life filled with love, creativity, and meaningful moments that shape both your child’s and your own growth. Whether you’re tired or energized, this personality reflects strength and dedication, showing that motherhood is indeed a powerful and beautiful identity.

I’m the exact opposite. lol Love all my kids, BUT… I’m unexpectedly expecting again, due in March, and I had to sacrifice my studio space to make room for another whole human. My studio space was my office. My photography, my journaling, my sewing, my crocheting, my gift packing… I kept some yarn and journaling supplies, and of course my camera, but it felt like an identity strip. I was a SAHM for 10 years. That’s not happening again. I need to step out of the house, go to work, go to the gym, and have a life.
