Things Happen
My thoughts:
College is not for everyone. Certain Majors aren’t for everyone. Things good and bad happen in college and it changes you. People don’t graduate on time. Others drop out. People break off long term relationships. You lose friends. You gain friends. You find out people are trash, but also that people have amazing stories.
I changed my major 3 times. I failed 2 semester. I was pregnant and had a baby my last year of college.
“Succeeding” in college doesn’t necessarily mean you get straight A+ or you even get your diploma, it’s what you get out of it.

Navigating college life can be a rollercoaster experience, filled with unexpected challenges and triumphs. Many students reassess their goals mid-journey, leading to changes such as switching majors or even taking breaks from their studies. It's common to face academic failures, but these experiences can also propel personal growth and resilience. A significant number of students in college encounter relationship changes; whether it's breaking off long-term connections or forming new friendships, each relationship has its lessons. Emotional maturity and self-discovery often emerge during these pivotal years, with learning experiences shaping one's perspective on life. Moreover, the notion of success in college is subjective. While some may define it through straight A's or a timely graduation, many find that the real success lies in the experiences gained and the ability to adapt to changing paths. Engaging with the community, exploring diverse ideas, and embracing the uncertainties of college are crucial components of this journey. These elements reflect the reality that college is a unique passage that goes beyond academics; it's about navigating one’s identity in a complex world. Understanding that setbacks can lead to new opportunities can aid students in developing a resilient mindset. Ultimately, college is less about the accolades and more about building a foundation for a fulfilling future.
