One of the best decisions I made for my wedding 🫶🥰

*edit* hi all I keep getting banned from sending msges! Y’all can find my emcee on IG @emceerayson!! Mention you’re referred by Bubblebings!! ❤️❤️

💕💕💕

Hey yall - real talk: hiring a good emcee will really make or break your wedding!

I knew from the start of my wedding planning that hiring a professional emcee is a must because we don’t really have any emcee-personality friends and even if we do, we wouldnt want them to enjoy the wedding fully and not stress over the emceeing!! 🫠

✨Why a good emcee matters ✨

Your emcee isn’t just there to “announce things” — they’re the heartbeat of your wedding program. A good one will:

🫶 Keep the event flowing smoothly

🫶 Engage your guests so they’re laughing & clapping, not scrolling on their phones (stickered over our friend’s faces but trust me they were laughing happily 🤣)

🫶 Run your program and games well so that you can enjoy your big day fully!!

✨Tips for choosing your emcee✨

1️⃣ Bilingual if needed – Especially if your guest list is a mix of languages.

2️⃣ Natural humor – The jokes should land without feeling forced.

3️⃣ Experience in weddings – They’ll know how to handle unexpected hiccups. They also act as a semi-wedding coordinator and advisor for any of your questions!!

4️⃣ Vibe match – Their personality should match yours & the mood you want.

5️⃣ Testimonials - I know, hiring an emcee you meet online feels like a gamble. So recall the weddings you’ve attended - which emcee’s vibes did you like? Or ask for recommendations from friends/ other wedding attendees!

✨Our emcee - Rayson✨

We met Rayson at a wedding fair and my hubby and him clicked off right away. Hiring him was such a great decision because he checked all our above boxes…

For me, bilingualism and humour is really super important. I’ve personally attended a wedding hosted by Rayson and enjoyed it a lot too. He’s got a few of his own classic jokes that keep the Chinese crowd really well entertained! 🤣

He kindly came down for our rehearsals (because of how complicated my program is, i really wanted to brief him through all my segments). A big bonus for me was that he offered to lend us a premium kahoot account haha we all know how classic this wedding game!!

✨Conclusion✨

Sooo if you’re still hesistating on whether to get an emcee, I’ll say… yes - even if it means shifting your budget around haha letting the professional handle the program will really help you take such a big load off your mind!!

If you’re keen to hire Rayson as your emcee, comment “emcee” and I’ll share his contact ya! :)

... Read moreWhen planning our wedding, I realized the importance of choosing an emcee who could communicate effortlessly with a diverse group of guests. A bilingual wedding emcee is invaluable, especially in Singapore’s multicultural setting, as they can seamlessly switch languages and keep everyone included and entertained. I specifically looked for someone with natural humor and experience handling weddings — traits that made all the difference in keeping our guests engaged and the event running smoothly. Talking about attire, I found that a professional emcee’s appearance also sets the tone. They typically dress sharp yet approachable, fitting the vibe of the wedding without overshadowing the couple. It’s worth discussing their outfit style beforehand so the look aligns with your wedding theme. One unexpected bonus was how our emcee doubled as a semi-wedding coordinator, helping answer questions and managing last-minute changes with ease. Plus, incorporating interactive games like Kahoot boosted guest participation, something I hadn’t planned but turned out to be a hit thanks to our emcee’s initiative. I’d recommend anyone unsure about hiring an emcee to consider these benefits. It might mean adjusting your budget, but the peace of mind and elevated guest experience are well worth it. If you want an emcee who brings energy, professionalism, bilingual skills, and humor to your wedding, this is definitely an investment to make.

Why We Paid To CHANGE OUR BANQUET CHAIRS
We paid extra to change out our banquet chairs to Tiffany chairs and it was a decision we didn’t regret! I know this sounds a bit like frivolous spending and we were battling in our heads to justify spending $1k+ on chair rental but after seeing everything end to end, we were so happy we made t
