My Mommi makes cute little bags to pass out…2025🍋!
Lemon8, Lemon8 - I came to set the record straight! lol
Hai Lemonades & Lemonites, respectively🤗!
A while ago, my Mommi’s spirit urged her to start filling ziploc bags with a few things that she felt were basic essentials for anyone that would need it in a clutch.
She’d go on a bulk/wholesale item haul & create what we call “Blessing Bags” that she keeps on hand, especially in the car to hand out to anyone who needs it when we’re out & about.
Often times when we’re in her hometown, Key West, it’s super easy to give it out to people as we’re riding by the beach.
In 2025, we want to know what else could go in them to make them more useful and appreciated? So far, the 2025 bag includes;
a Chapstick
a hand sanitizer
a pair of socks
a pack of soft tissue
a single use mini toothbrush kit
an individual tylenol pack
a few candy and mints
a comb
a dollar
a Psalms 91 prayer card with a Bible verse
; sometimes we’re able to give a water but we have to be careful of having the bottles sitting in a hot car for too long of a time (heard somewhere that that was not good for you) . Using bulk/wholesale/ multi use items helps keep the cost down for her, without withholding what is necessary.
We’d appreciate any other ideas that we can throw in!

In recent years, the concept of creating "Blessing Bags" has gained momentum as a thoughtful way to support those in need in our communities. Inspired by the simple yet profound gesture of kindness, many individuals and families have started assembling these bags filled with essential items for those who may be struggling. The contents of a typical Blessing Bag can range from toiletries like soap and shampoo to snacks, water bottles, and first-aid supplies. The idea is to include practical items that someone might need in a pinch, ensuring that a moment of kindness can make a tangible difference in a person’s day. In 2025, as we continue to embrace compassion, expanding the range of items included in these bags can enhance their value even further. For instance, adding a handwritten note with encouraging words or resources to local shelters can create a connection between the giver and the receiver. Also, considering the seasonal needs is vital; during colder months, warm items such as gloves, hats, and even blankets can be especially welcome additions. Furthermore, many communities are looking at sustainable options, such as reusable bags, which not only align with eco-friendly values but also show thoughtfulness in packaging. Getting children involved in the creation of these bags can also foster empathy and teach valuable lessons about giving back. Engaging local businesses or churches to organize collection drives can amplify your efforts, ensuring a larger community impact. As we curate our Blessing Bags, let’s not forget the joy of sharing love and kindness, illustrating the power of community support. If you have any additional ideas or stories about your Blessing Bags, share them and inspire others to get involved in spreading kindness in their own neighborhoods.

Crackers. Granola bars. Pads. Tampons. Condoms? They do get freaky out there. Maybe a list of local resources
