Good bye July! Hello August!!!

Wow, what an incredible July it's been! As I look back, it truly feels like a milestone month, marking the beginning of so many new adventures. Turning 18 wasn't just about blowing out candles; it was about stepping into a whole new chapter of independence and decision-making. Suddenly, there's this exciting weight of being fully in charge of my path, from choosing my college courses to planning my days. It’s a mix of thrilling freedom and a little bit of 'whoa, am I ready for this?' But honestly, soaking up every moment, especially with my amazing boyfriend by my side, made it all feel so right. A huge chunk of July was dedicated to getting ready for college. It’s not just about packing boxes; it's about mentally preparing for a completely different environment. I spent hours researching dorm room essentials, trying to figure out what to bring and what to leave behind. There were emotional goodbyes with friends I won't see as often, and lots of future planning conversations with my family.
