i’ve been on lemon 8 for a little over a year… here’s my hot take on the app!!
overall, i really like the app. i like the pintresty feel and all the creators on the app! yes it has its downsides and sometimes tons of negativity and hate, i like it for the most part. a solid 4.5 stars!!
the parts i don’t like is the engagement ratios. i had two posts of mine go viral, one with 38.7K views and 1819K views but only around 400 likes each. i’m not complaining and i’m very grateful for the posts, i’m just confused. i also found it surprising i was not invited to the creator group, especially with some smaller creators with less views getting invited. even with that, i still do like the app! i love the prizes you can get from the challenges.
the app is hard work, yes, but in the end it pays off. i love the lemon 8 community and everyone’s authenticness on this platform 💛🍋
