“Normal COD fan” but I made a sticker

Gonna be honest, every time I get a comment of “erm I feel like I’m the only normal cod fan in this fandom” all I want to do is give that person a gold star because I’m petty asf 😂 like I gaf if you’re so normal and “not cringe”. Like okay?? Don’t be fun and whimsical imma do me. Anyway I made this specifically making sure it’s a normal version of ghost so ppl feel validated for being not cringe by a totally real Ghost lmaoo #callofduty #callofdutymodernwarfare2 #stickershop #fandom

... Read moreOkay, so you've seen my Ghost fan art sticker, right? I wanted to share a bit more about the inspiration and process behind it, especially since I know a lot of you out there are fellow Call of Duty fans! Honestly, creating fan art is such a cool way to engage with the games we love, and Ghost from Modern Warfare II is just one of those characters who truly resonates. For this sticker, I really wanted to capture Ghost's iconic look – the intense skull mask and those signature headphones are just essential. And yes, I made sure to include a subtle nod to his origins with the Union Jack flag detail, which I think adds a nice touch for true fans. The idea for the phrase, "congrats ur the normal person in fandom ig," actually stemmed from a lot of the playful banter you see in online COD communities. It's a lighthearted jab at the idea of what's "normal" or "cringe" in any fandom, and I thought it'd be a fun, relatable inside joke printed on a bright pink background to make it pop! Making custom stickers is a surprisingly fun creative outlet. I started by sketching out a few ideas for Ghost, focusing on getting his silhouette and key features just right. Then, I moved to digital art software to refine the lines and add color. Choosing the right colors was key – I wanted it to be vibrant and eye-catching. After finalizing the design, I looked into different sticker printing services. There are so many options now, from vinyl to holographic, and selecting a durable, weather-resistant material was important to ensure the sticker would last wherever it ended up, whether on a laptop or a water bottle. Fan art, for me, is more than just drawing; it's about connecting with a community. It's a way to express your passion and share your unique perspective on characters and stories. Ghost, with his mysterious aura and compelling storyline, offers so much material for artists. Whether you're drawing him in action, giving him a more stylized look, or even creating humorous takes like my sticker, there's always something new to explore. If you're thinking about diving into fan art or making your own custom merchandise, I'd say just go for it! Don't worry too much about perfection; it's the act of creation and expressing your fandom that truly matters. Start with a character or game you're passionate about, experiment with different styles, and have fun with it. Even a simple sketch or a digital doodle can evolve into something really cool and become a way to share your love for Call of Duty with others. It's all part of the amazing, sometimes quirky, world of fandom!
