... Read moreVisiting these June events in Singapore gives a wonderful opportunity to explore unique cultural and nature experiences without spending a dime. For example, at Cj Hendry’s Flower Market, I was amazed by the room filled with tens of thousands of plush flowers, including exclusive Singapore designs, which creates a truly immersive floral wonderland. The complimentary plush flower giveaway was a lovely keepsake that added charm to the visit. Another highlight was the Children’s Festival centered around Disney’s Winnie the Pooh at Supertree Grove. It was an engaging event for families, where kids could collect 'hunny' tokens from five collection stations to redeem exclusive themed stickers. This interactive hunt made the festival more fun and memorable for young visitors. The i Light Singapore festival at Marina Bay and Raffles Place was breathtaking at night. The light installations by 17 artists were not only visually stunning but also embraced sustainability by using energy-saving lighting and eco-friendly materials. Wandering through this creative display felt magical and inspiring, and perfect for a pleasant evening stroll. Lastly, the National Orchid Garden within the Singapore Botanic Gardens is a tranquil haven featuring over 1,500 orchid species and 3,000 hybrid varieties. The free entry during June was a great chance to marvel at these vibrant blooms and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Going early before sunset allowed me to capture beautiful photos as the garden’s natural lighting softened. Overall, these June events and places offer a rich blend of art, nature, and family-friendly fun, making them ideal for locals and tourists to experience Singapore’s charm affordably. Planning visits a few days before they end is recommended to not miss out, especially for limited-time highlights like the Orchid Garden opening and flower market.
