A Little Reflection of my Recent Shoot

During this shoot, I learned that sometimes the best photos come from letting go of control and allowing the light and atmosphere to shape the mood organically. Inspired by Paolo Roversi’s technique, I focused on creating fragile, imperfect images that evoke emotion and timelessness. My approach involved embracing blur, distortion, and the interplay of light and shadow to craft a series that feels both spontaneous and thoughtful. Working at Stylehaus Studio was fantastic—the space and the lighting equipment from Aputure Asia helped me experiment with different setups and moods without pressure. The collaborative spirit of my team, including the model @pinkeye_ch, makeup artist @fourann using Chanel beauty products, and the assistant @_w.xd_, made the whole process enjoyable and creatively fulfilling. One of the most rewarding parts of this project was how we allowed moments of experimentation and imperfections to come through naturally rather than striving for technical perfection. This mindset made the shoot feel like a play session rather than a stressful assignment, resulting in some of my favorite images to date.
