หลายคนถามเราว่า “ถ้าพ่อแม่ล่วงลับไปแล้ว ยังบูชาพ่อแม่/สวดให้ท่านได้ไหม?” คำตอบคือทำได้ค่ะ หลักๆ คือ “ตั้งจิตระลึกถึงพระคุณ + อุทิศบุญ” ยิ่งทำสม่ำเสมอ ใจเราจะอ่อนโยนขึ้นและกล้าพูดคำดีๆ กับคนในบ้านมากขึ้นด้วย 1) บทไหว้พ่อแม่ (ใช้ได้ทั้งตอนอยู่ต่อหน้า หรือสวดในใจตอนอยู่ไกล) เริ่มด้วย ตั้งนะโม 3 จบ แล้วกล่าวว่า “ข้าพเจ้า (ชื่อ-นามสกุล) ขอนอบน้อมบูชาคุณบิดามารดา ระลึกถึงพระคุณอันใหญ่หลวงที่ท่านเลี้ยงดูอบรมสั่งสอน หากข้าพเจ้าเคยล่วงเกินด้วยกาย วาจา ใจ ทั้งรู้ตัวหรือไม่รู้ตัว ขอท่านโปรดอโหสิกรรมให้ด้วยเทอญ” 2) คาถาบูชาพ่อแม่ (ภาษาบาลีสั้น จำง่าย) “มัยหัง มาตาปิตูนังวะ ปาเทสุ วันทามิ สาทะรัง” แปล: “ข้าพเจ้าขอกราบไหว้เท้าของบิดามารดา ด้วยความเคารพอย่างสูง” ทริคของเราคือสวดช้าๆ 3 จบ แล้วน้อมใจคิดถึงหน้าท่าน/ความเมตตาที่เคยให้เรา จะไม่รู้สึกเหมือนท่องเฉยๆ 3) คาถาบูชาพ่อแม่ที่ล่วงลับไปแล้ว (เพิ่มการอุทิศบุญให้ชัด) หลังสวดบทขอขมาและคาถาบาลี ให้กล่าวต่อว่า “บุญกุศลใดที่ข้าพเจ้าได้บำเพ็ญในวันนี้ ขออุทิศแด่คุณพ่อคุณแม่ (เอ่ยชื่อได้) ขอให้ท่านได้รับส่วนบุญส่วนกุศลนี้ มีความสุข ความสว่าง และไปสู่สุคติด้วยเทอญ” ถ้าคิดถึงท่านมากๆ เรามักตามด้วยการทำความดีเล็กๆ 1 อย่างทันที เช่น ใส่บาตร/ทำทาน/ช่วยงานบ้าน แล้วค่อยอุทิศบุญ จะรู้สึก “ส่งถึง” มากขึ้น 4) ทำให้เห็นผลในชีวิตจริง (ไม่ใช่แค่สวด) - โทรหาท่าน/ทักไลน์ด้วยคำสั้นๆ วันละประโยค: “กินข้าวหรือยัง” “พักผ่อนนะ” - ถ้าอยู่บ้านเดียวกัน ลองไหว้ก่อนออกจากบ้านหรือก่อนนอน 1 ครั้ง - ถ้าขอขมาแล้ว ให้ตามด้วยการเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรม 1 อย่างที่ท่านกังวล เช่น พูดเสียงเบาลง ไม่ประชด ไม่หายไปเฉยๆ 5) ถ้าอยากบูชาแบบมีมุมบูชา (จากภาพในบทความ) เราเคยจัดโต๊ะเล็กๆ วางดอกบัว/ผลไม้/น้ำเปล่า แล้วไหว้ด้วยใจเรียบง่าย ไม่ต้องใหญ่โต จุดสำคัญคือความตั้งใจและความกตัญญูค่ะ ท้ายที่สุด ต่อให้เราท่อง “คาถาพระพุทธเจ้า” หรือบทไหนก็ตาม แก่นที่คนค้นหาจริงๆ คืออยากให้ชีวิตเบาขึ้นและครอบครัวร่มเย็น เราว่าเริ่มจากบทสั้นๆนี่แหละ ทำทุกวันได้ ไม่กดดัน แล้วค่อยๆ เติมการกระทำดีๆ เข้าไป บุญใหญ่จะเกิดเองแบบรู้สึกได้ค่ะ
