📍 2026 is actually harder.
Unlike when we started behind the high-demand covids, now more people are on the line than jobs - but don't be afraid, there's still a way.
📍 Things that help stand out more than others.
Is to have something to show that you can actually do it, intern, or find a problem to do it yourself, keep it as a portfolio, so that AI can help you teach. Knowledge today is very easy to find.
📍 really QA heart is
Logic + prudence is not tied to what ends. Anyone can start.
📍 Not ending on the line is good.
We ended the economics at first, very confused with the tech term, but the original background helped in some ways, like at the bank site, it was enough to understand the financial product, because QA had to understand the tested product, not just the tech.
📍 soft skills are not as important as technical.
Be discreet, communicate with the team (dev / BA / PM / PO), learn non-stop, dare to accept when wrong.
📍 things I wanted to tell myself from day one.
Learn English more hard 📚 because new knowledge is always English first, can read by yourself = learn faster, do not wait for anyone to translate

จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวที่ผ่านมากับการย้ายสายมาเป็น QA สิ่งที่ผมพบว่าสำคัญมากในปี 2026 คือการมีผลงานที่จับต้องได้ เช่น การฝึกงานจริง หรือการทำโปรเจกต์เล็กๆ เพื่อใช้เป็น portfolio ในการยื่นสมัครงาน ยิ่งยุคนี้มี AI เข้ามาช่วยสอนและแนะนำ ทำให้เราสามารถเรียนรู้และพัฒนาทักษะ QA ได้สะดวกรวดเร็วมากขึ้น การเน้นพัฒนาทักษะ logic และความรอบคอบยังเป็นหัวใจสำคัญที่ทำให้คุณแตกต่างจากคู่แข่ง แม้ว่าคุณจะไม่ได้จบในสายเทคโนโลยีโดยตรง แต่ถ้าคุณเข้าใจผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ต้องทดสอบ รู้จักวิธีสื่อสารกับทีมงานอย่างชัดเจน และมีทัศนคติที่พร้อมเรียนรู้สิ่งใหม่อยู่เสมอ คุณก็มีโอกาสประสบความสำเร็จในสายงานนี้ได้แน่นอน ผมอยากแนะนำเพิ่มเติมว่าอย่ามองข้ามการฝึกฝนภาษาอังกฤษ เพราะความรู้และบทความส่วนใหญ่ในวงการ software testing มักจะเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ การอ่านและทำความเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษได้เร็ว ช่วยให้คุณเข้าถึงข้อมูลใหม่ๆ ได้ก่อนใคร และช่วยให้การทำงานร่วมกับทีมระหว่างประเทศลื่นไหลมากขึ้น สำหรับใครที่กำลังลังเลว่าจะเริ่มอย่างไร แนะนำให้เริ่มจากการตั้งเป้าหมายเล็กๆ เช่น เรียนรู้เครื่องมือทดสอบพื้นฐาน หรือหาเว็บไซต์ที่ให้โจทย์ฝึกเทสต์ จากนั้นนำผลงานที่ได้มาสร้าง portfolio ของตัวเองไปเรื่อยๆ จนมีความมั่นใจ เมื่อถึงเวลาสัมภาษณ์งาน คุณจะมีเรื่องเล่าและผลงานที่พิสูจน์ได้จริง จนทำให้คุณโดดเด่นกว่าคนอื่น สุดท้ายผมอยากบอกทุกคนว่าการย้ายสายงานไม่ใช่เรื่องง่าย แต่ถ้าเริ่มต้นทำอย่างจริงจังและไม่หยุดเรียนรู้ โอกาสในสายงาน QA ก็ยังเปิดกว้างเสมอ แม้ปี 2026 จะเป็นปีที่ความต้องการงานในสายนี้เปลี่ยนไป แต่คุณภาพและผลงานที่ดีจะเป็นสะพานที่พาคุณไปถึงเป้าหมายได้ครับ
