Got a tech job but didn't know if it was our way.

Many people think that when they get a tech job, it's over, but for me, not at all. 😅

I got the QA job, and I'm not sure if this is our way, so today I want to tell you about my wandering. 👇

Before becoming QA, I tried it in different ways.

At first I wanted to go to the data line because I felt that it was the closest to the econ I learned to be able to build on what was available, but I couldn't get it.

After that, I came across a bootcamp that funded a dev. At that time, I thought the data line would be unlikely. Coupled with the dev, it looked cool, so let's learn, but seriously, I didn't know much about 😂

And then I got exactly QA, and I didn't mean to be late for QA, just wanted to be on the tech line.

But got the job and still didn't stop looking the other way

In my first year of work, QA, I still went to study more data. I intend to move the line again.

At that time, the lights were very strong, working to study almost without feeling tired (but also like to miss the fresh class, focus on the retrospective fall)

When I graduated, I revisited myself about how much we were in with the data line.

And I found out about stat, and I went from high school to college to college to learning more, but I still felt that I understood the basics, and I didn't see how to use it.

It's not about where to teach. It's purely about me feeling that we and STAT haven't been tuned in since.

So we saw that the data line might not solve our problem, so we focused on QA.

And lost, is it a waste of time?

No, sir.

The fact that I've been learning this has brought me to know Python, SQL, HTML, JavaScript since I didn't even work on the tech line, which has become a very practical foundation.

And then what had been studied, it hadn't gone anywhere. It was just waiting for the day to be used.

For example, when I learned data, I practiced Excel with Google Sheets a lot. When I did a QA job with a hundred test cases, I had to filter, find data, I had to bind the formula, I could do it immediately, and I could teach people on the team, even when I didn't think I could apply it to QA.

The other thing is, I know what I don't like, which I think is as important as knowing what we like.

If anyone's getting lost,

A working brother once told me that when we were young, try a lot of things to find out what we like or what we don't like.

I think it's true, because in retrospect, all the things I tried to learn came together, even though I didn't even know what would be useful.

So try it. Try a lot of things, not change. Don't think we can't.
