Mechanical watch dial spider

Lately I’ve been exploring the idea of “lifelike structures” in metal.
This mechanical insect was built from discarded watch parts, brass rods, and tiny screws—assembled piece by piece.
Every leg and joint came from trial and error, trying to find that thin line between something mechanical and something alive.
I love the calm, restrained, slightly dangerous aura it gives off under the light.
There was no fixed blueprint during the process—just letting the materials guide the form, as if the creature slowly “grew” into itself.
Just documenting this stage of my work, and leaving a bit of my creative thoughts here. ✨
