Is your ANXIETY telling you something?
Just as pain can alert us to something going wrong in our body that needs attention, anxiety or uneasiness can alert us to something spiritual that perhaps we’ve been neglecting or not nurturing the we ought to. Instead of simply trying to get rid of those negative feelings, let’s pray about them and see what God might reveal to us.
23 Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139:23–24)

From my personal experiences, I've found that anxiety often surfaces when there are unresolved emotional or spiritual issues that need attention. Rather than pushing these feelings away, I started to see anxiety as a valuable message prompting me to slow down and reflect on my life. This mindset shift transformed my approach to anxious moments. One practical way to engage with your anxiety is through journaling and prayer, as suggested in Psalm 139:23–24, asking for guidance to understand the source of your anxious thoughts. This helped me uncover hidden worries and areas where I felt disconnected spiritually or emotionally. In addition, integrating daily devotional practices can create a comforting routine that reinforces self-awareness and spiritual growth. Over time, I noticed that nurturing my inner self and inviting calm meditation helped reduce the intensity of anxious feelings. If you are struggling with anxiety, consider seeing it as a prompt to nurture neglected parts of your life, whether that means seeking support, practicing mindfulness, or deepening your spiritual connection. This perspective not only alleviates anxiety but also fosters resilience and deeper peace.
Yes!!! This world has become an anxious place in general. I know more and more people who isolate themselves, I am guilty of this myself. I have to remind myself daily that God wants me to put my complete trust in him and to be anxious for nothing! I do have to be careful who I surround myself with. If I am around negative people, I find myself being more negative but I completely agree, God wants us to be disciples. We are to be his hands and feet! Thank you for sharing this 🙏
