Open Rooftop Saltwater Pool?! Else Hotel KL ✨

Flip through the pictures for a more through view

Located at Chinatown, surrounded by floral shops & niko neko 2.0. It was a lovely location.

Else hotel was well known for their food, from breakfast, to the pool snacks, even to their hotel restaurant and lobby bar. It was fantastic. Their lobby bar deserves another post on its own.

The pool is saltwater pool - fantastic for the skin.

Room service is… can be improved. Best to msg them via WhatsApp to get extra pillows or body balm.

Cost: Urban room - about $200/night (comes with ala carte breakfast - it was delicious ✨)

Amenities: Dyson hair dryer and Aesop shower products

... Read moreIf you're planning a visit to Else Hotel KL, the rooftop saltwater pool is an absolute highlight. I found it especially refreshing and gentle on the skin compared to traditional chlorine pools, which made my swim truly enjoyable. While the pool itself is open and perfect for a relaxing dip, the surrounding area offers a charming setting with nearby floral shops and the cozy vibes of Chinatown. For food lovers, the hotel excels—breakfast here was a delightful experience with its à la carte options, setting a great tone for the day. One thing I learned during my stay is that the room service could be a bit slow, so sending a WhatsApp message for extra pillows or body balm can speed things up. The small touches like Dyson hair dryers and Aesop shower products in the room really enhanced my comfort. Overall, staying in an urban room at around $200 per night felt worth the price considering the quality of the food, the beautiful rooftop views, and the pool experience. Whether you’re looking to unwind in a peaceful oasis above the city or explore the vibrant Chinatown area, Else Hotel KL is a wonderful choice to consider.
