I don’t really have a recipe yet! But if you like matcha and pistachios you’ll love this combo.
I just mix even ammount of the Matcha mix and Whole milk. You can substitute with a plant based one. And 1/8 cup of the creamer. (Or add more to your taste)
I added stevia to sweeten it more to taste 👅 and I top it with whipped cream ✨😩 it’s soo good!
I don’t know the macros or calories but yeah! Overall rating: 10/10!!! 🥺✨✨
I could definitely see it being jazzed up with some vanilla syrup! But I don’t have any atm 🥺😭😩
... Read moreI've stumbled upon what I can only describe as my ultimate drink obsession: a vibrant, creamy pistachio matcha latte that's become my go-to treat! Seriously, if you love both matcha and pistachios, this combo is a game-changer. I gave it a solid 10/10, and I'm convinced you will too!
Making this delightful drink couldn't be simpler, even without a fancy barista setup. My secret weapon? Combining the convenience of a ready-made matcha almond concoction with a luscious pistachio creamer. Specifically, I've been loving the Califia Farms Matcha Almond Latte as my base – it gives that perfect matcha flavor without any fuss. Then, for that incredible pistachio kick, I use International Delight Pistachio Latte creamer. These two green bottles, as you might have seen, are the heroes of my 'special drink' moment!
Here’s how I whip up my current favorite:
The Base: I start with an even amount of the Califia Farms Matcha Almond Latte. Since it’s already got that almond milk creaminess, it makes the whole process super smooth.
The Pistachio Power: Next, I add about 1/8 cup of the International Delight Pistachio Latte creamer. This is where the magic happens! You can totally adjust this to your taste – if you want a stronger pistachio flavor or more creaminess, just add a little more.
Sweetness (Optional): I personally like things a bit sweeter, so I’ll add a dash of stevia to taste. But feel free to experiment! Honey, maple syrup, or even a simple vanilla syrup (which I’m dying to try next time!) would work beautifully. For those looking for a truly indulgent touch, a pinch of sea salt can actually enhance both the matcha and pistachio notes, bringing out a surprising depth of flavor.
The Finish: Top it all off with a generous swirl of whipped cream, and you’re in for a treat! It truly elevates the experience.
Now, let's talk ingredients and customization a bit more. For anyone wondering about good matcha, while I use a pre-made latte here, if you're exploring matcha powder, consider the quality. Ceremonial grade matcha offers the best flavor for drinks, but culinary grade works well too, especially if you’re blending it. I've heard great things about Costco organic matcha powder for its value and quality if you're buying in bulk. It's an economical way to keep your matcha supply stocked for daily enjoyment.
Experimenting with milk is also fun! While the Califia Farms option already includes almond milk, you could use oat milk, soy milk, or even regular dairy milk with pure matcha powder and pistachio syrup if you're making it from scratch. This flexibility means you can tailor your pistachio almond milk latte or any other variation to your dietary preferences.
Feeling like a pistachio matcha smoothie? It’s super easy to transform this drink! Just blend the same ingredients with a handful of ice, maybe half a banana for extra creaminess, or even a scoop of vanilla protein powder for a filling, energizing breakfast or post-workout treat. It makes for a fantastic and refreshing thick drink, perfect for warmer days.
This simple blend has become my little moment of joy. It’s quick, utterly delicious, and satisfies my cravings for both earthy matcha and nutty pistachio. Give it a whirl and let me know your favorite tweaks!
