everything will be okay!
Everything is changing so quickly. Political unrest is amplifying. Divides in my life that were once cracks are now faults and it’s only a matter of time before an earthquake happens.
On top of that every-time I look something up on google all I get is some fucking bum ass ai answer!
I’m getting older and figuring life out on increasingly uneven ground. I try to be balanced but I feel like i can barely stand. I know a lot of young people are feeling similarly.
Anyways. I want to remind myself that it will be okay. Future versions of myself will look back on this time and think wtf was even going on in the US. Like REALLY and truly honestly wtf.
Future versions of myself will still enjoy the sunset and the beach and sounds of the trees and leaves and wind. In that way I can connect my current self with what I will be and WHAT will be in general. Ground yourself to something stable. While you change, this something will provide you security in a world of insecurity.
The outdoors and the sun is that something for me! The sun will always rise to greet me in the morning, she’s kind of like a loving mother in that way. She, somehow, always gets up before me, has a very important job, but never forgets to remind me that she is here for me. TRANQUILO!!!
Life is filled with tough moments that can feel overwhelming, underscoring the need for mindfulness and grounding practices. Many young individuals today grapple with feelings of instability and uncertainty. When faced with political unrest and societal pressures, it's essential to reconnect with elements that instill a sense of calm. Embracing nature can play a significant role in achieving this tranquility. The simple act of stepping outside, feeling the warmth of the sun, and listening to the rustle of leaves can provide immense comfort. For many, nature becomes a metaphorical anchor amidst the storms of life, reminding them of their resilience. Cultivating mindfulness practices such as meditation and deep breathing in natural settings allows for a deeper connection with oneself and the environment. Establishing a routine that incorporates time in nature can help combat feelings of anxiety and restlessness, fostering emotional well-being. Whether it’s hiking, beach walks, or simply sitting in a park, these moments can serve as reminders of life's beauty, even during difficult times. Ultimately, finding ‘tranquilo’ moments amid the chaos not only uplifts our spirits but also encourages a healthier perspective on change, helping us embrace both the highs and lows of our experiences.
