Unveiling Myself
I’m Shaunice, or in spirit Bustanibaba. I’m a full-spectrum doula, a dreamwalker, a rootworker, and a vessel for ancestral healing. My work lives at the intersection of birth and death, grief and joy, prayer and practicality. I don’t separate the spiritual from the physical, because that’s not how our ancestors lived. That’s not how spirit moves.
⠀
I hold space for Black folks, queer folks, neurodivergent folks… really for anyone navigating the liminal. I offer care that’s rooted in tradition, trauma-informed, and spiritually intact. That looks like postpartum steams, herbal kits, placenta work, and bone divination. It looks like helping you cross the threshold—whatever that threshold may be.
I’m interested in:
— Bush medicine that ain’t for sale
— Dreams that ain’t always metaphor
— Ancestral land memory
— Channeling without filters
— Plant life as sentient kin
— Reclaiming death as a rite, not a medical emergency
— Knowing when to rest, when to resist, and when to rise
I do this work because I’ve lived through portals I didn’t think I’d survive. And I’m still here. So I walk beside others now. I’m not here to fix you. I’m here to walk with you as you remember who you are.
If you’re called to work with me, you probably already know. If not, that’s okay too. I don’t market. I magnetize.
