The maid did it..?
This was my first time listening to an audiobook which quickly turned into listening to a whole series. These are obviously a step away from my usual reads but I really think I’m liking the thriller genre. The maid/nanny tries to find her way back to a normal life and ends up finding her purpose in helping others in more ways than cleaning. I did find some of these repetitive with the descriptions given of items and scenarios. The first two books were awesome, I think I liked the second one better than any of the others. In my opinion the novella “the Handmaids Wedding” was just a filler and not a necessary read/listen. The third book definitely redeemed the series with a step away from the usual plots in her previous books however they all had crazy unexpected twists at the ends which was a great way to wrap them up.
Definitely read your trigger warnings.
