It’s okay to be okay

I’m better than okay….. I’m free from you!!!

5/17 Edited to

... Read moreSometimes, society pressures us to always strive for perfection or constant happiness, but learning that it’s okay to simply be okay can be incredibly liberating. From personal experience, I’ve found that accepting the state of being okay rather than forcing myself to feel overly positive or trying to escape discomfort allows me to genuinely heal and grow. Being free from toxic influences or relationships, as highlighted by the message ‘I’m better than okay….. I’m free from you!!!’, is a powerful step toward reclaiming inner peace. This freedom isn’t just physical but deeply emotional—it means no longer carrying emotional baggage that weighs you down. When I embraced the concept that ‘it’s okay to be okay,’ I stopped judging myself for moments of doubt or sadness. Instead, I accepted them as natural feelings that make me human. This acceptance freed me from unrealistic expectations and enabled me to focus on meaningful growth and self-love. If you’re going through a difficult time or struggling with letting go of someone or something, remember that reaching a state of okay is a vital milestone. It’s a sign of resilience and strength, not weakness. Allow yourself that grace to simply be okay as you move forward toward a healthier, happier you.

It’s Okay to Not Know
My educational journey has been anything but linear, marked by exploration, change, and growth. In high school, I began my senior project by shadowing an English teacher, which sparked my initial interest in education. After graduation, I attended college to pursue a degree in English, uncertai

A woman sits by a large circular window with a red frame, looking out at a town and mountains. The text overlay instructs, "Lie about traveling solo. Mention you're with friends or a partner. Stay Safe!!"
Why It’s Okay To Lie 💕
As a solo traveler, I learned to break my habit of being overly honest and started seeing the bigger picture. 🗣️ Lie about where you’re staying, I look up 2-3 hotels to have in mind if I’m asked this question. 🗣️ Lie and say you’re with a spouse or a group of friends, don’t ever say you ar

It’s okay not to like her…
I have seen on more than one occasion people say that disliking Taylor swift is a hit to feminisms or that you are anti-feminist. This goes to both men and women, but I think that’s ridiculous. As a feminist myself, I don’t really enjoy Taylor swift. I use to listen to her first few albums I’ve hea

It’s Okay to Weigh More than Your Partner
There’s been a trend going around where couples put on each other's clothes, and we are supposed to guess whose outfit is who’s. Super cute trend, but I can’t lie and say it didn’t make me feel a little insecure. Most of the couples I’ve seen do the trend are made up of a tall, beefy looking ma

It’s okay to start over! 🍋🌸
~ It is perfectly fine to start over. 🥹 it’s so peaceful being in your own space. Seek peace and be in your own bubble. You deserve this! 💕 You may not have it all in that moment but you will get there. Be patient with yourself. All that matters is you’re trying, grateful, happy and it’s yours. ✨
