Belton Lake: A Paradise 1 Hour From Austin

This beautiful lake is one of my favorite places to go with my children. During spring and summer, I go there every weekend to spend the day. We love going there…

Park Information:

Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA) is fourteen miles northeast of leading Fort Hood, and therefore the drive is pretty scenic.

Park Hours

Monday 6 AM–9 PM

Tuesday 6 AM–9 PM

Wednesday 6 AM–9 PM

Thursday 6 AM–9 PM

Friday 6 AM–9 PM

Saturday 6 AM–9 PM

Sunday 7 AM–10 PM

Gate Fee

National Park Annual Pass is not accepted at BLORA.

$2.50 DAV per vehicle

$5 Authorized DoD patrons per vehicle

$10 All Other Civilians per vehicle
