🍋 Day 17: The Courage to Try Again

🌿 The Most Courageous Thing I’ve Done Is Keep Going!

Today was Day 17 of my 30 Days of Audacity Challenge.

The challenge was simple:

Do something that scares your ego. Choose courage over comfort.

And the truth is…

I’ve been doing that for the last 16 days.

I’ve chosen the courage to try again.

The courage to keep going in the midst of uncertainty.

The courage to hold onto my faith when it felt like everything around me was falling apart.

The courage to show up when my feelings told me to disappear.

The courage to continue creating when momentum slowed down.

The courage to be seen before I felt ready.

Because if this challenge has taught me anything, it’s this…

Courage isn’t always loud.

Sometimes courage looks like getting out of bed and deciding that today matters too.

Sometimes it looks like posting anyway.

Applying anyway.

Praying anyway.

Beginning again anyway.

I used to think courage was reserved for big moments.

Skydiving.

Taking huge risks.

Making bold announcements.

But now I think some of the bravest people are the ones who quietly keep choosing hope.

The ones who keep showing up.

The ones who decide that fear doesn’t get the final say.

Today, I realized that maybe I haven’t been waiting to become courageous.

Maybe I’ve been courageous all along.

🌸 Day 17 Complete.

What I’m Learning:

🤍 Courage isn’t the absence of fear.

🤍 Consistency is a form of bravery.

🤍 Starting over doesn’t erase your progress.

Where in your life have you been more courageous than you’ve given yourself credit for? 👇🏾

✍🏾🎠 Perhaps courage isn’t found in one extraordinary moment, but in the ordinary decision to begin again.

Often, it’s the small, persistent acts that define our true strength. For example, simply getting out of bed on a tough day or deciding to try again after a setback requires a kind of quiet courage that many overlook. In my own experience, choosing courage meant confronting the fear of failure and rejection repeatedly. I remember times when my mind tried to convince me that giving up was easier, but holding on to faith and steadily moving forward made all the difference. This perseverance helped me build resilience and discover that progress doesn’t require perfection, only persistence. I also realized that consistency in showing up—whether by posting my thoughts, applying to opportunities, or praying through difficult moments—is a fresh form of bravery. These acts, though small individually, combined to create meaningful momentum in my journey. Furthermore, the reminder that starting over doesn’t erase progress has been liberating. It gave me permission to begin again without shame or self-doubt, understanding that each new attempt is a vital part of growth. If you’re wondering where courage lies in your own life, look to the everyday moments where you chose hope despite fear. These quiet decisions to try again and keep going are where real bravery blooms. Embracing this mindset not only strengthens you but inspires others to see that courage is accessible to everyone, every day.
