They say you should dress for the job you want, but Iām dressing for the brand Iām building. As a full-time hustler, my wardrobe has to keep up with the chaos, the meetings, and the endless creativity.
Here is what a week of "founder energy" looks like:
⢠Mon: Power neutrals for a deep-work day. š»
⢠Tue: Chic & convenient for running errands and sourcing.
⢠Wed: Something elevated for a networking coffee. āļø
⢠Thu: 90s minimalism for a creative brainstorm session.
⢠Fri: A pop of color to celebrate a week of wins! š„
The Verdict:
š The One I Liked: The Thursday look. Itās peak "Style Logic"āsimple, effective, and makes me feel like a boss.
š The One I Disliked: Honestly, Tuesday. It was cute for the photo, but by my third meeting, I realized I should have gone for the jeans š instead of a suede skirt! š

Dressing intentionally for the lifestyle and career you're creating can truly affect your mindset and confidence. From my personal experience, curating a ādream bigā wardrobe that reflects the energy I want to bring into each day has been a game changer. For example, starting the week with power neutrals on Monday helps me zone into deep work mode without distractions, making my focus sharper. Through the week, my outfit choices shift with my schedule ā casual but chic on Tuesday for errands and sourcing, elevated yet approachable for networking on Wednesday, and embracing 90s minimalism on Thursday to stimulate creative brainstorming sessions. The simplicity of 90s minimalism feels refreshing and keeps me thinking clearly without visual noise. Adding a pop of color on Friday is my way of celebrating small wins and boosting my mood heading into the weekend. Each piece I choose serves a purpose aligned with the role Iām stepping into as a founder and creator; itās about projecting the vibe and values of the brand Iām building. A lesson learned: practicality matters. For instance, swapping a suede skirt for jeans on busy errand days improved comfort and efficiency considerably. So, blending style with functionality is key to sustaining this wardrobe mindset. I encourage everyone building something new to think about their āstyle logicā and how their clothes can support their goals ā whether thatās through colors, textures, or simplicity. Our wardrobe becomes part of our personal brand narrative, sending a subtle but powerful message to ourselves and others about who we are striving to be.
