Boredom freeSummer
Hey there ! I’ve been planning a list of 60+ ideas to do with my kids in the summer.
Summertime for a stay at home mom is tough if you don’t have things planned for the kids but it doesn’t have to be anymore. I’ll be posting these and some more until my ideas are gone . Feel free to leave a comment with things that you like to do with your kids during summer so they don’t eat the entire pantry in one sitting LOL
this is my best advice > don’t tell the kids about the plans. Kids like to be curious (which is great) but surprising them is also fun.
1. Simple and Fun - A good picnic late afternoon where there’s a park is a great way to have quality time with your kids and they get to eat watching nature. Take a puzzle, jenga, dominoes or if you’re on the active side just a ball will do. Play, eat, share giggles, play some more and head home for a peaceful wind down night.
2. Trampoline Sleepover - Guys I can’t wait to do this with kids this summer, I’m preparing all the pillows, blankets, stuffed animals and a great telescope so we can watch the night sky . If you don’t have a trampoline a tent will be just as fun !
3. Outdoor movie Night - always having something to do with my kids excite me as I want to see them grow in a loving and fun environment. Movie night is always a great idea, pizza, snacks and some treats will make sure they stay during the whole time.
4. Painting Rocks - I love doing this with my kids, they love getting messy with the paint and using their imagination. When we finish painting our rocks we let them dry and place them on neighborhood trails for other kids to find them. It’s a fun little project and the kids learn some kindness and sharing.
5. Nature Color Hunt - I can’t wait to do this with my kids, haven’t done it yet but looks like a great way to teach them to observe nature. You can always place the findings on a canvas and make art out of it.
Let me know what you think of these ideas and if you’d like to see some more since summer is right around the corner and kids can get bored so easily.

Pack their favorite snacks, outdoor games like frisbee or soccer, and enjoy the beautiful weather. 2. **DIY Outdoor Movie Night**: Make summer nights special by setting up an outdoor movie experience. With blankets, pillows, and popcorn, you can turn your backyard into a cozy cinema under the stars. 3. **Arts and Crafts**: Activities like rock painting foster creativity and imagination in kids.
