You’re Not Still Showering Through Gunk… Right? 😷🚿

Once a month, I give our shower head a quick clean. It takes barely any effort and makes every shower feel 10x better.

Hard water, grime, and whatever else is hiding up there… it all clogs up over time. But thankfully, this fix is easy:

I fill a bag with vinegar, secure it around the head with a rubber band, and let it soak for a few hours.

After that, a quick scrub, rinse, and done.

It’s renter-friendly, cheap, and actually helps with water pressure.

If you’ve never cleaned yours… this is your sign. 💧🛁

Over time, mineral deposits from hard water can clog the shower head, leading to decreased water pressure and an unsatisfactory shower experience. By cleaning your shower head monthly, you can prevent build-up and ensure a refreshing shower every time. To clean, fill a plastic bag with white vinegar, secure it around the shower head using a rubber band, and let it soak for several hours. The acidity in vinegar effectively dissolves mineral deposits and grime, making it easier to scrub off afterward. A thorough rinse post-cleaning will leave your shower head sparkling and functioning at its best. This method is not just cost-effective but also environmentally friendly, as it eliminates the need for harsh chemical cleaners. Plus, it’s renter-friendly, making it suitable for anyone in a rental property. If you haven’t cleaned your shower head yet, consider this a gentle reminder to give it a deep clean for healthier and happier shower times!
