Lazy Girl 5 Minute Everyday Makeup Routine 🤍✨🌸
As a 9-5 girlie, I need makeup that is quick and easy! These are my tried and true favorites for an easy 5 minute makeup routine that is great for acne prone skin!
🧖🏼♀️ Skin Prep
I always do a whole skincare routine before makeup but I usually add a sunscreen as my main primer. This one from Beautypie is mineral sunscreen that has a slight tint to avoid any white cast plus it acts perfectly as a primer!!
🖌️ Complexion
Most days, I’ll use the NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer by itself; however, when I need a slightly more hydrated look or want to have a little more coverage then the Ilia is my all time fav. (Some people say it smells bad but I don’t think it’s that bad. It goes away really quickly)
🍒 Blush
I am a HUGE fan of anything Nudestix, especially their Nudies cream blush sticks. The Cherie shade is my most used shade. It can be worn as a more natural red-pink blush or can be built up to be more dramatic.
💨 Powder / Set
I used to not be a huge fan of powder, but now I can’t live without the Nyx HD Studio Translucent Finishing Powder. This powder is perfect for setting under eyes without creasing and also eliminates any unwanted shine. It doesn’t get cakey and is talc free!
👀 Eyes
Mascara is the only thing I use on my eyes during my 5 minute makeup routine. I have been loving this Lancome Lash Idole mascara. It’s honestly worth the hype in my opinion! It’s never clumpy and is easy to apply without any smudging.
💋 Lip Combo
You need something simple during a 5 minute makeup routine! My everyday staples are the $2 elf creamy lip liner topped with a tinted lip gloss. My current fav is the Naturium Phyto-Glow Lip Balm, but I also rotate the elf lip oil in at times!
Are any of these products your staples as well? What do you use in a 5 minute makeup routine?

In today’s fast-paced world, a 5-minute makeup routine is an essential skill for anyone with a busy lifestyle. This routine is not only quick but also perfect for those with acne prone skin. To start, it's essential to prep your skin correctly. A mineral sunscreen doubles as a primer and protects against sun damage while minimizing white cast. Products with niacinamide can help soothe and hydrate the skin, making them ideal for your base layer. For your complexion, using a lightweight concealer can cover blemishes effectively without feeling heavy. The NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer is a great choice for targeted coverage, while a tinted moisturizer with skincare benefits can impart hydration and light coverage for a natural finish. When it comes to color, cream blushes are versatile and easily buildable, allowing you to customize your look based on time and mood. Brands like Nudestix offer convenient applicators that blend seamlessly into the skin for a fresh vitality. Setting your makeup is crucial, particularly for avoiding shine throughout your busy day. Translucent powders that are talc-free are excellent; they help set the under-eye area and keep the rest of your makeup in place without feeling cakey. Mascara is a key step in any quick routine. Find a volumizing formula that separates and lengthens without clumping for a polished look in seconds. To finish off, a simple lip combo of creamy lip liners can add color and definition while lip balms provide hydration and a natural sheen without the fuss of lipstick application. By incorporating these product recommendations and techniques, you can achieve a flawless look that seamlessly fits your hectic schedule. Have you tried any of these products in your daily makeup routine?
