Traveling Heartbreak
This is the first look of the cover idea I have for my fourth novel, Traveling Heartbreak. I am so excited to finish this one. It will be one of the first novels in my universe chronological, and the easter eggs in it will be insane. I finished chapter 3 this weekend. On to chapter 4, writing time travel is fun.
Traveling Heartbreak will follow Josh, an ambitious self-proclaimed scientist who started studying time travel as a way to save his dad from a long, drawn-out death. Until one day, his fiance is killed while they are our on a date for their two year anniversary, and now Josh's focus shifts to saving his fiance. However, saving her isn't as easy as he hoped. The continued jumps lead to exhaustion and mistakes, and the next jump he finds himself not in the past, but thousands of years in the future, and the world is completely destroyed. He loses part of his time machine and must venture into this post-apocalyptic waste land, full of deformed monsters, crazy nuclear weather, and humans that want to kill him and take all he has. What happened to Earth to cause this, and could Josh help prevent it. All he has now is a clan of Christian survivors who want to help him get home and tell him the good news of Jesus. Can he make it home and save his fiance and prevent this chaos from happening, or is there something you can change?
