I never asked for this.
I liked my simple life, living with my dad in our modest home, in a cozy little town.
Then everything changed. I take one step over a grave on Halloween, and suddenly he appears. Edgar. A not-living, not-breathing, very-dead ghost.
Apparently, I have a legacy to live up to and he’s been sent to escort me.
My estranged grandmother oversees the Harrowgrove manor, an enchantingly haunted estate where our family is subject to a devastating curse. One that jeopardizes my very safety.
Danger lurks hand in hand with the monsters that hide in the darkest of places, and it’s not my life that they want.
It’s my soul.

As someone who has always been captivated by paranormal stories, reading "A Grave So Cold" felt like stepping into a truly immersive haunted world. The dark allure of the Harrowgrove manor, where family curses and spectral beings intertwine, immediately grabbed my attention. What makes this story stand out is the vivid portrayal of monster men—not just terrifying creatures, but complex characters with their own motives and passions. The tension between the protagonist and the ghost Edgar adds a layer of emotional depth, especially when danger escalates in scenes like the one described where Edgar fiercely defends her from Beau. This blend of supernatural suspense and romantic spice (or "ghost smut," as the author cheekily labels it) offers an exciting twist on Gothic romance traditions. I also appreciated how the story captures classic Halloween vibes, making it ideal for readers who enjoy atmospheric settings filled with witches, vampires, and werewolves. The heroine's reluctant acceptance of her legacy and the impending curse felt authentic, as did the sense of peril threatening not just her life but her very soul. For anyone intrigued by cursed families fighting dark forces or fans of paranormal romance featuring diverse supernatural elements, this story delivers. It’s a gripping mix of horror, passion, and mystery that keeps you hooked. As someone who enjoys haunted mansion tales and gothic atmospheres, I found "A Grave So Cold" a perfect read for nights when you want to be both thrilled and enchanted.
