Japan Solo Trip - Day 1 l Kyoto Rainy Day ☔
'The first day in Japan... it rained since leaving the airport. 🌧️ The plan was prepared, so it broke from the first day. '
This is the first trip to Japan and also the one-person trip. In fact, the flight had to arrive at about 7: 55 am, but actually arrived at about 8: 30 am. Before leaving the terminal, we stopped to go to the bathroom and exchanged the train ticket purchased from Klook to catch the Kyoto train. After walking out of the terminal, we saw that the rain was dripping, so we were told if we reached Kyoto and the rain would stop.
The train sitting into town is JR's Haruka and bought an ICOCA card to use because this trip didn't buy any passes.
After getting all the tickets and tickets, walk to the JR gate. We booked the train and seat in advance. We have to wait almost 20 minutes to catch the train. But if anyone doesn't reserve a seat, you can board a non-reserved train.
But the chaos of the first day wasn't over, because by the time Kyoto Station got lost, 😂 was confused by the exit, but finally came through. Then take the train to another station to get to the hotel, leave your luggage first, and then hang out.
In fact, today we were planning a trip, but it seemed to rain all day, so we decided to adjust the plan from the intended place and started going to the first place.
Nishiki Market starts with a walk and get something to eat first and then buy a little something because it doesn't carry a lot of supplies around. Skincare and cosmetics in Japan are cheaper than Thailand. It is recommended that you don't have to carry a lot to buy here.
After a walk in the market for a while, he found a small shrine inside the market:
Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine, so stop in to pay respect and buy Goshuin (I will make a post to see how many shrines this trip has gone to collect Goshuin), then continue to walk to
📍 Yasaka Shrine, and it's still raining all the way. If you come to the light at night, it's definitely more beautiful, but the rainy atmosphere has another charm, and of course... stop by to see the amulet and Goshuin as usual. Finally, you have to take the bus back to the hotel because you can't walk anymore.
The first day in Kyoto was lost, rained, and not all planned trips, but it was a great start, and the first day went about 10,000 steps unconsciously:)
