Day 3 | Kurama-Kifune Hiking... Very Tired But Worth It
Japan Solo Trip Day 3 - Kurama to Kifune Trail 🌲
'Start a quiet day in Kyoto, but on our way back take us to forests, shrines, and long corridors that are both beautiful... and more tired than I thought.
Start the day by going.
Seimei Shrine, a quiet central town shrine. People who watch anime or play games probably already know Abe no Seimei. The feed here is very calm, like starting a light day.
Then go on.
Shimogamo Shrine, UNESCO's World Heritage Shrine, on the way through the Tadasu-no-Mori forest, where the atmosphere is very good, and there are also lovely seasonal amulets.
Walk out to find
Kawai Shrine, the popular Japanese people ask for beauty and beauty. The highlight is Ema, who draws his own face. Cute and strange.
After that, take the Eizan line to Kurama to go up to Kurama Temple. Before going up, stop by to eat a small shop in front of the temple called Yoshuji. It's a J-style food. It's weird, but it's delicious.
Then we continue our journey to
Kurama-dera Temple will have a spot where people stand and "get power." Then we hike on. Kifune Shrine, which says it's beautiful and tired. 😂 On the way, there are woods, roots and small shrines inserted.
📍 Kifune Shrine is as beautiful as the pictures I've seen, and there's a risk of dipping paper in the water. Of course, we tried again, haha.
Take a break and take the bus down to the Eizan bus back to town.
But the day wasn't over... we decided to go.
To-ji Temple continues to see the missed light work on the first day, even though there are a lot of people and long lines, and have to hurry to take pictures because there are a lot of people, but the atmosphere inside is really beautiful.
End of the day like "worth it, but more feet," and yes... today is getting knee pain. 😂
