✨🫶“When You Feel Like You’re Not Enough”🫶✨
Hey family,
If you’ve ever felt like you're not enough. Like your best still isn't seen or appreciated. This episode is for you. Whether you're a mom trying to hold it all together, a dad who feels the weight of the world, a teen struggling to find your voice, or someone just quietly showing up day after day, you are not alone.
Today we’re going to talk about the feelings of not being enough and what God says about it. Because the truth is you were never meant to be “enough” in your own strength. You were made to lean on Him.
{1.} You Are Seen by the One Who Matters Most
📖 Genesis 16:13
“She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: ‘You are the God who sees me,’ for she said, ‘I have now seen the One who sees me.’”
📝 Let’s talk about Hagar, a woman cast out, rejected, used. In the wilderness, alone and afraid, she encounters El Roi. The God Who Sees. Not the God who scolds. Not the God who shames. The God who sees her pain, her worth, her identity.
👉 Reflection📝
💡 Where in my life do I feel unseen? Can I imagine God seeing me there?
💡 What truth stood out to me today?
💡 Where have I believed the lie that I’m not enough?
💡 How is God inviting me to rest in His strength?
{2.} You’re Not Meant to Be Everything for Everyone
📖 2 Corinthians 12:9
“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.’”
The pressure to be “enough” is a weight you were never meant to carry. God’s grace fills every gap. Your weakness is not failure. It’s a place for His strength to shine.
👉 Reflection📝
💡 What weakness am I trying to hide that God wants to use?
{3.} Even When You're Tired, You're Still His
📖 Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
He doesn't ask you to perform. He asks you to come. Jesus wants your weariness, your tears, and your sighs at the end of a long day. You don’t have to be put together to come to Him.
👉 Reflection📝
💡 What burdens am I carrying that I need to give to Jesus today?
{4.} You Are His Workmanship
📖 Ephesians 2:10
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand.”
You're not random. You’re not a mistake. You’re His masterpiece, carefully crafted with intention and purpose. That means even on your worst day, you still hold God’s fingerprint on your life.
👉 Reflection📝
💡 Do I believe I am God’s workmanship, even when I feel broken?
🤍✝️🤍 Beloved, God sees you.
Not the version you try to show everyone, He sees the real you.
The one who cries in the shower.
The one who doubts their worth.
The one who keeps going when it’s hard. And He calls you enough in Him. Let today be the day you stop striving for perfection and start resting in His presence.🙌🏼
🙏🏼I'm going to pray over each of you!
Father,
For the one listening who feels like they’re not enough, wrap them in your love. Remind them they are seen, known, and chosen. Fill every space where they feel empty, and whisper truth over every lie of inadequacy. In You, they are more than enough.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Many people struggle with the feeling of inadequacy, often questioning their self-worth and contributions. It’s common to feel overwhelmed by societal expectations, especially when juggling multiple roles as parents, teens, or caregivers. The pressures of daily life can create a sense of not measuring up, prompting a search for affirmation and purpose. God invites us to understand our identity through His love and grace, emphasizing that we are seen and valued despite life's challenges. When we reflect on Biblical figures like Hagar, who felt rejected and unseen, we can find comfort in knowing that God acknowledges our struggles. Genesis 16:13 reminds us that God sees us even in our most vulnerable moments. Additionally, 2 Corinthians 12:9 teaches us that God’s grace is sufficient for our inadequacies, turning our weaknesses into opportunities for His strength to shine. The invitation from Jesus in Matthew 11:28–30 reassures us that we can approach Him just as we are, bringing our weary hearts and heavy burdens. He invites us to rest, knowing that we are His workmanship created for good works. It’s essential to embrace our unique journeys, understanding that perfection is not the goal; rather, it’s about being authentic in our faith and relying on God’s support.
