🏡 Why Jesus Belongs at the Center of the Family
There is a lot of pressure on families today.
Pressure to do more, Pressure to be more, Pressure to have the perfect schedule, the perfect home, and the perfect life.
But I've learned something over the years
A strong family isn't built on perfection. A strong family is built on Jesus.✝️
When Jesus is at the center, He becomes the foundation we stand on when life gets hard.
Because let's be honest life gets hard.
There are busy seasons. 📅
There are financial struggles. 💵
There are disagreements. 💔
There are moments when we're tired, overwhelmed, and unsure of what to do next.
And that's exactly why we need Him.
🌿 What Does It Mean to Put Jesus at the Center?
It doesn't mean your family has to be perfect.
It doesn't mean you have to know every Bible verse.
It doesn't mean you never make mistakes.
It simply means choosing Him daily.
Choosing prayer over panic. 🙏
Choosing grace over anger. 🤍
Choosing faith over fear. 🌸
Choosing forgiveness when it's difficult. 🌱
☕ Simple Ways to Keep Jesus at the Center
You don't need a complicated plan.
Start small.
📖 Read a few verses together.
🙏 Pray before meals.
🚗 Talk about God while driving down the road.
🌙 Pray with your children before bed.
💗 Let your family see you depend on Jesus.
The little things matter more than we realize.
🌻 The Legacy We Leave
One day our children may forget the toys we bought.
They may forget what was on the dinner table.
They may forget many of the things we worried about.
But they will remember what our family stood for.
They will remember if they saw us pray.
They will remember if they saw us love others.
They will remember if they saw us trust God.
And that's the legacy I want to leave.
Not a perfect home.
Not a perfect life.
But a home where Jesus was welcome.
💭 Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, our families don't need perfection.
They need Jesus.
And the beautiful thing is that He's already waiting to meet us right where we are.
In the chaos. In the laughter. In the ordinary moments.
Because sometimes the most powerful ministry happens right inside our homes. 🏡✝️
"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." — Joshua 24:15
