🍎✨ A new season, a new classroom, and a fresh start.
As many of you know, I am moving to a new school building starting my 2nd year teaching, which means I'm building my Head Start classroom from the ground up for an amazing group of 3 and 4 year olds.
If you've ever been encouraged by this page or our podcast and have been looking for a way to support what God is doing, I'd love to invite you to help bless my students. I've created a classroom wishlist with items that will help create a safe, engaging, and loving environment where little hearts can learn and grow.
Please don't feel obligated your prayers, encouragement, and sharing this post mean just as much. But if you'd like to help, the classroom wishlist link will be in my bio and in the comments.
Thank you for believing in me, supporting this journey, and investing in the next generation. Every item, no matter how small, will make a difference for these sweet children. ❤️🍎📚
... Read moreStarting a classroom from scratch is both an exciting and challenging experience, especially in early childhood education. When building a Head Start classroom dedicated to 3 and 4-year-old children, it’s essential to provide not only the right supplies but also an environment that nurtures curiosity, safety, and emotional development. From my own experience as an educator, creating a vibrant and supportive classroom requires more than just furniture and basic materials—it demands thoughtful selection of learning tools that encourage hands-on exploration and creativity.
Key items like colorful books, sensory toys, art supplies, and comfortable seating areas help promote cognitive and social skills. Additionally, a classroom wishlist often includes items that support inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring all children feel welcome and empowered to learn. Beyond physical supplies, consistent support through encouragement and prayers plays a vital role in sustaining a teacher’s motivation and the classroom’s positive spirit.
The scripture Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord,” beautifully captures the heart of this teaching journey. It reminds us that educating young learners is a meaningful vocation driven by passion and faith. Supporting a classroom wishlist is more than donating items—it's investing in the growth and success of the next generation. Whether through material support or kind words, every contribution helps cultivate a loving and effective learning space where children can thrive academically and personally.
