now i have a few already so i like to think what i do works lol
i left the wrap on for a couple of hours, and right as i took it off i got in the shower with LUKEWARM water. not the scalding hot water we ladies love so much.
i don’t use anything but my hand and dove soap to clean around the area and work my way onto it with whatever soap is left.
after the shower if i still have residue i take a soft microfiber wash cloth or a baby wash cloth with the same soap and gently go around
after the shower i use aquaphor to trap in moisture.
moisturize at least 3 times a day and don’t always leave it covered up with clothing. it needs to breathe
while it’s healing it’s gonna be itchy. by all means don’t give in. instead try itching around the area or applying a lotion or healing gel (non scented)
don’t pick at it for the love of all things good. i know it’s tempting but we don’t want patchy tats over here 🫶🏼

Brands like Dove are ideal for cleansing as they provide a hypoallergenic solution that doesn't strip the skin of essential moisture.
After cleaning your tattoo, it’s important to keep it moisturized. Aquaphor Healing Ointment is highly recommended for its ability to trap moisture and help the skin heal efficiently. Make sure to apply it at least three times daily and allow your tattoo to breathe by avoiding tight clothing.
During the healing process, expect some itching. It’s important not to scratch your tattoo; instead, try gently patting surrounding areas or using a healing gel to soothe irritation. Remember, picking at scabs can lead to a patchy appearance, which is often disappointing for tattoo lovers. Proper care will ensure your design remains vivid and smooth for years to come.
For additional healing tips, it’s beneficial to keep tattoos protected from sun exposure. Applying sunscreen after the healing stage can preserve the ink's brightness. Always consult with your tattoo artist regarding aftercare products and practices tailored specifically to your tattoo style and skin type.
omg i love ur tattoo !!!
