Compound exercises like squats, deadlifts, and bench presses not only increase muscle mass but also boost metabolism, which is crucial for fat loss. Nutrition plays an equally important role. Winter comfort foods can derail progress, so opting for balanced meals rich in proteins, healthy fats, and complex carbs is essential. Meal prepping helped me avoid impulsive eating and provided the necessary fuel to power through workouts. Another key is embracing indoor workouts when the weather is harsh, using home equipment or visiting gyms. Incorporating flexibility and mobility exercises prevents injury and enhances recovery, making the fitness journey sustainable.
