When I first started planning my trip to The Standard Hua Hin, I saw so many amazing photos of their facilities, especially the outdoor swimming pool, the private beach, and the beautifully manicured garden. Honestly, these three areas were what truly elevated my stay and made it unforgettable – I just had to share my personal take! Let’s start with the Swimming Pool! Oh my goodness, it’s even more stunning in person than in pictures. The signature blue swimming pool is perfectly positioned right next to the beach, offering incredible ocean views while you swim. I spent so many mornings here, enjoying a refreshing dip before the crowds arrived. That bright blue water contrasting with the iconic yellow lounge chairs and umbrellas on the wooden deck creates such a vibrant, cheerful atmosphere. If you’re like me and love taking photos, this spot is pure gold! I found that early mornings or late afternoons were the best times for photos – the light is softer, and you can capture those gorgeous reflections in the water without too many people around. They also have a 'POOL' sign that makes for a fun, quirky photo op. The poolside service is fantastic too; you can easily grab a drink or a snack without having to leave your sunbed. It truly felt like a luxurious escape. Next up, the Beach experience. The Standard Hua Hin boasts a phenomenal seaside location, and accessing the beach is incredibly easy – literally steps away from the Lido restaurant! I loved that the beach felt quite private and secluded, even though it’s technically a public beach. The sand is soft, and the water is clean, perfect for leisurely strolls. Every morning, I made sure to take a walk along the shore, watching the sunrise paint the sky with incredible colors. It’s such a peaceful way to start your day. Don't forget to grab one of those famous yellow-striped lounge chairs and just soak in the sun and the sound of the waves. It’s the perfect spot to unwind with a good book or simply enjoy the refreshing sea breeze. For an active day, you can also rent paddleboards or kayaks right there! And finally, the hidden gem: The Garden. You might not expect a hotel garden to be a highlight, but The Standard Hua Hin’s garden area is truly something special. It features a lush green lawn dotted with various trees, including a magnificent large, mature tree with extensive branches that provides wonderful shade. What I particularly loved were the unique white sculptures scattered throughout the garden, adding an artistic touch. It's a fantastic spot for a quiet moment away from the pool and beach, or for finding different backdrops for your photos. I discovered so many little nooks and crannies, perfect for reading or just relaxing. The combination of vivid green foliage and the hotel's colorful architecture really makes this garden an aesthetic delight. It enhances that overall 'Miami vibes' feel the hotel is going for, offering a serene contrast to the more energetic pool and beach areas. Seriously, take some time to explore it; you might find your new favorite relaxation spot! These three elements – the vibrant pool, the serene beach, and the artistic garden – truly define the experience at The Standard Hua Hin.
