Buttery（バタリー）名駅桜通店は「バターにこだわる焼き菓子とコーヒー」を楽しめるのが魅力で、名古屋駅近くで“カフェもできて手土産も買える”お店を探している人にかなり刺さると思いました。私は名駅から国際センター方面へ歩いて向かったのですが、駅前のにぎやかさから少し離れる分、到着したときにホッとする感じがあります。 店内は落ち着いた雰囲気で、カフェ利用だと「焼きたてバター香る幸せを。」という言葉がしっくりくるような、香りの良さが印象に残りました。焼き菓子って持ち帰りのイメージが強いですが、ここはその場でドリンクと合わせられるので、味の確認ができるのも地味にうれしいポイント。初めて行くときほど、気に入ったら次回はテイクアウトで…という流れが作りやすいです。 手土産・差し入れ目的なら、買うタイミングを少しだけ意識すると良さそう。私は日中に行きましたが、人気の時間帯だと売り切れや品薄もあり得るので、確実に選びたい人は早めの時間に寄るのがおすすめです。名駅エリアは乗り換え前後でサッと寄れる反面、帰りが遅くなると閉店時間に間に合わないこともあるので、予定の前半に組み込むと安心。 また、駐車場はないので公共交通での訪問が前提になりやすいです。名古屋駅から歩ける距離感なので、旅行や出張で来た人もアクセスしやすいと思います。お店は年末年始を除き定休日なしなのも助かりました。 「バタリー 焼き菓子」で探している人は、まずはカフェで1〜2点を食べてみて、気に入ったものを追加でテイクアウトするのが個人的に満足度が高かったです。甘いもの＋コーヒーの組み合わせはもちろん、ちょっとした休憩にも使いやすいので、“名駅でカフェ探し＆手土産探しを一度に済ませたい日”にぴったりでした。
