Homesteading tips?! 🏠🌳
We are most likely going to get some land here soon, and I want to utilize all the acreage I can!
Things we’re thinking of doing (we are just dreaming lol, not saying we will do this all):
🔸 Fruit trees (apple & peach maybe?)
🔸 possibly a mini vineyard?!
🔸 Garden (for sure doing this)
🔸 Food plots for hunting
🔸 Building a Barndominium as a house (for sure)
🔸 Wanting to try canning!
Please give me all the advice!!

As you embark on your homesteading journey, it's important to plan effectively and use your land wisely. Consider starting with fruit trees like apple and peach, which not only provide delicious produce but also enhance your landscape. A mini vineyard can be a fun hobby for wine enthusiasts and a sustainable source of grapes. Growing your own garden is a classic aspect of homesteading and allows you to produce fresh vegetables year-round. Don’t forget to include food plots for hunting to make the most of your land's resources, contributing to your self-sustainability. When constructing your Barndominium, think about sustainable building materials and energy-efficient designs to minimize your ecological footprint. Canning is an excellent skill to learn; it helps in preserving your harvest and reduces food waste. By storing fruits, veggies, and even meats, you can ensure you have access to homegrown ingredients throughout the year.
