Eat, sleep, water, supps

Do you ever feel off on your gym days? before or after your workout?

try these couple tips and see if they help!

#1 hydrate!! make sure you have water and/or electrolytes so much sure you're properly hydrated. no, drinking coffee doesn't count in this situation 😏

#2 eat! for me and my wacky blood sugar, I need to eat before I workout. even if it's 2 hours before, I gotta eat. if you don't eat before, eat a high protein meal within an hour of working out.

#3 make sure you're getting plenty of sleep and rest days throughout the week! that helps with recovery and energy!

#4 you don't NEED supplements but if you want to see certain results, you need to have certain products. protein, creatine, bcaas, pre-workout, or collagen (there's more I just personally don't think you need alllll that) are good examples.

listen to your body before and after a workout and see what it needs 💪🏽 get your groove on

... Read moreTo optimize your workouts and recovery, it's crucial to focus on key areas: hydration, nutrition, rest, and possible supplementation. 1. **Hydration**: Ensure you're drinking enough water before, during, and after workouts. Electrolytes can also play a vital role in maintaining performance, especially during intense training sessions. Avoid relying on caffeine as a substitute, as it can lead to dehydration. 2. **Nutrition**: Eating proper meals before and after workouts can significantly influence your energy levels and recovery time. A balanced diet with adequate protein, carbohydrates, and fats is important, but consider incorporating a high-protein meal within an hour after exercising to aid muscle recovery. 3. **Sleep**: Quality sleep is essential for effective recovery. Lack of sleep can hinder performance and lead to fatigue. Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night, and don’t underestimate the power of rest days in your weekly routine. 4. **Supplements**: While not necessary for everyone, certain supplements, like protein powder, creatine, or BCAAs, can help you achieve specific fitness goals. Evaluate your diet and consider whether supplementation could help you meet your nutritional needs more effectively. Listen to your body — it knows best when something is off. Adjust your hydration, nutrition, sleep, or supplement routine based on how you feel, and you'll find the perfect balance to enhance your workout experience.
